Terms of use

The agreement

Using Momentum means accepting these terms. They are between you and TODO_PUBLISHER_NAME, who runs it. If you do not accept them, do not create an account; if you already have one, deleting it in Settings ends the agreement.

Your account

You need to be 13 or older. One account is for one person — the schedule Momentum builds is worked out from one learner's own progress, so a shared account produces a plan that fits nobody.

Keep your password to yourself, and tell TODO_CONTACT_EMAIL if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

What it costs

Nothing. There is no card, no trial that ends, no limit that unlocks, and no feature held back for a paid tier — the app you are using is the whole of it.

If that ever changes, existing accounts will be told well before it does, and nothing you have already put in will be held to ransom: the export in Settings will keep working, free, whatever else changes.

What is yours

Your notes, your files, your marks and your schedule are yours. TODO_PUBLISHER_NAME claims no ownership of them and takes no licence to use them beyond what running the app requires — storing them, showing them back to you, and putting them in your export.

Syllabus content in the shared catalogue is a different matter: it belongs to the exam boards that published it. Momentum reproduces it so you can track your way through it, and it is theirs, not ours and not yours.

Using it fairly

Do not upload anything unlawful, anything that is not yours to upload, or anything that would put another person at risk. Do not try to reach another account's data, break the service for other people, or run automated traffic against it beyond ordinary use.

An account doing any of that can be suspended or deleted. Where the situation allows it you will be told why and given a chance to answer first.

What is not promised

Momentum is offered as it is. It is a planning tool: it says what a spaced schedule suggests you revise, from a syllabus you imported and the marks you entered. It does not promise a grade, and no part of it is a substitute for your teacher, your school or the exam board's own published materials.

Syllabus content is imported from published documents and is checked, but a specification can change and an import can be wrong. Where an exam matters, the board's own current document is what counts.

There is no uptime guarantee. Reasonable care is taken to keep your work safe, and the export exists so that a copy of it does not depend on this service continuing to run. Keeping that copy is worth doing.

Limits

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else the law does not permit to be limited. Beyond that, and to the extent Malaysian law allows, TODO_PUBLISHER_NAME is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using Momentum — including exam results, missed deadlines, or lost work — and total liability is limited to what you have paid for the service, which is nothing.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings, which takes effect immediately and removes your data as the privacy notice describes.

The service itself could be discontinued. If that happens you will be given reasonable notice and time to export, rather than finding out from a page that no longer loads.

Which law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have jurisdiction over disputes about them. If you use Momentum as a consumer somewhere else, this does not take away rights your own country's law gives you and does not stop you bringing a claim there.
